The landscapes in this section are of wooded areas in Dutchess County, NY and how they are affected by snowstorms. "The Distant Wall" and "Rocks on the Hill" for example, represent  how  stone walls and rock formations  fade from sight during a heavy snowstorm. "Snow Covered Fence" shows the effects of a recent snowfall on a fenced in wooded area. "Early Morning Sunrise" illustrates how the sunlight is fragmented by trees and branches as it makes it's way up a snowy hill.
